The curriculum corresponds to a master’s degree with a research focus, which pursues the student’s interdisciplinary training in the knowledge, methods and research techniques in the History of Europe and the World of the Atlantic.
Students who have taken a bachelor’s degree course of 240 credits (ECTS) need only take the 60 credits of the master’s degree (20 compulsory, 20 optional, 20 Final Master’s Project).

The track taught by the University of Valladolid is focused on a historiographical and analytical vision of the structural drivers which lie at the core of the History of Spain between the Late Medieval and the Early Modern periods: government and institutions, economy and social structure, education, culture, art, and religion. MODULE III (Compulsory. Throughout the course) MASTER’S DEGREE FINAL PROJECT (20 ECTS) |
The object of the Master’s Degree Final Project, which is equivalent to 20 credits (ECTS), is to produce and public defend an individually supervised research monograph which addresses a specific chosen area in close connection with the topics dealt with during the master’s degree. This project should reflect historical research methods and techniques. |
